La Redoute opens two new markets: The Netherlands and Germany

As part of its profitable and responsible growth strategy, particularly internationally, La Redoute announces the expansion of its operations to two new countries: The Netherlands with a dedicated site laredoute.nl and Germany via the site laredoute.com. It is in particular with its two home decoration brands, La Redoute Interieurs and AMPM, that La Redoute is accelerating its international growth.

A historic presence in Belgium

With its historic presence in Belgium, La Redoute now offers its offer in the Netherlands. To do this, La Redoute has launched its website www.laredoute.nl, from which the Dutch can now access a major part and soon the complete offer of the Benelux entity of e-merchants, in particular its La Redoute brands. Collections, La Redoute Interiors and AMPM. This launch responds to the growing demand from Dutch consumers. In fact, its Lifestyle “Fashion & Home” offer had already attracted many Dutch cross-border commuters using the Belgian website of La Redoute to place orders.

A partnership with Spring Global Delivery Solutions

Delivery services have been entrusted to Spring Global Delivery Solutions, the International Division of the Netherlands Postal Service (PostNL) and the largest independent supplier of cross-border logistics services on the market. “Our main challenge is to offer a service enabling the delivery of almost all of our products, notably furniture and decoration, across all of the Netherlands, and with a high level of quality and confidence. Germany served via laredoute.com from the 1st quarter of 2020

La Redoute is developing its activities in new markets like Germany via its website laredoute.com. With the adoption of the “Global-E” solution, the site is now able to offer a high-quality level of service to its customers abroad as well as take orders locally in a large number of countries. As of the first quarter of 2020, the site supplies furniture for the brands La Redoute Interiors and AMPM up to 30 kg in new countries in central Europe.
